OVERVIEW

Since 2006, our firm’s mission is to help undergraduates and graduates make a seamless transition from campus to their careers. Over the years we have gained an understanding what key skill sets our associates need to succeed after graduation, and what our clients are looking for in their future work force.

With that knowledge, we have developed the Jobologi Program. Jobologi is the science behind getting the perfect job and finding the perfect new hire.

How it works: All associates must be accepted into the program and must complete five experiences during their 6 or 12-month program. The Experiences: Client Work experience, Team Building Events, Professional Development Workshops, Industry Shadowing, and health and wellness activities that will help our associates understand how to have an equal work life balance. Once all five experiences are completed, all associates will qualify for InternU’s Fingerprints program, providing scholarships or student debt relief.

Jobologi is provided to all our associates at no cost. You are compensated for every experience attended and completed.

InternU continues to experience significant growth and is hiring. Our program is seeking a Business Analyst. This position will be responsible for understanding our clients’ business needs and mapping them to our cloud based customizable software product.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide 24×7 monitoring of environmental controls.

  • Taking initial telephone, email or ticket inquiries and trouble-shooting and managing more complex hardware, software and/or networking problems.

  • Making the decision to escalate issues to Tier 3 or Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) for help.  Then working with the Tier 3 and SME to understand the root cause and corrective actions

  • Providing documentation to the team and training and mentoring Tier 1 staff.

  • Installing hardware and/or running cables.

  • Logging call activity and ensuring that all tickets are updated to reflect work performed and/or troubleshooting steps taken.

  • Complete daily/nightly/checklists.

  • Raise “roadblocks” and/or disruptions to the Client Services Team Lead and/or Manager of Client Services.

  • Adhere to policies, standards, procedures, and objectives.

  • Monitor and comply with performance metrics and assigned service level agreements (SLA’s)

  • Asset and Inventory Tracking.

  • Monitor backups, environmental controls, and circuits and report/track issues.

  • Create detailed step by step documentation.

  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years of solid technical experience.

  • Must have experience working within Cloud Computing with VMWare.

  • Previous experience in a help desk setting, or equivalent IT work experience.

  • Ability to provide technical support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.

  • Friendly presence and helpful attitude; great interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.

  • Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; remain productive during low times, be able to multitask effectively during busy times, exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations.

  • Working knowledge of common operating systems and software applications would be helpful.

  • Enter data or information into a terminal, PC, or other keyboard device using various software packages.
